President Young Kee Lee of our association signed an exchange cooperation agreement with the Beijing Normal University Zhuhai on June 10. The university participated in the opening ceremony of the Leisure Sports College established for the first time in China and signed the agreement afterwards at the presence of the president and vice president of the university, dean of the Leisure Sports College, and relevant professors.
The Beijing Normal University is one of the top 10 universities of China and is a school directly managed by the Education Commission of the Chinese Ministry of Education. The Zhuhai campus is located in Zhuhai close to Macao and Guangzhou.
The university’s land area is about 3.3 million square meter and it has over 23,000 students. Its target is to have 30,000 students in seven years.
President Young Kee Lee of our association was invited for the first time as a foreigner and appointed as a visiting professor. As such, it is the third university of China the association has signed a cooperation agreement with following Beijing Sport University and Yianbian University.
